Fantasy Trilogy
Following a terrific storm and a magical translation, Abigail and Jacob, two young people from 17th century England, find themselves alone in the strange world of Veylindré, sole survivors of a murderous attack by the Havimi. They vow to make a new life for themselves in this remarkable world. Some people from Dagâran - one of the six lands which make up the Commonweal of Veylindré - befriend them, and Abigail and Jacob soon realise that this world is quite different to the England they left behind. All Veylindréans worship the Six, and are able to do magic by accessing the mysterious Way through their Goldstones.
But they have an enemy, the Prophet of the One, who rules in Talamdor, a dark land which broke away from Veylindré centuries before, whose people worship Talamu, the One. One of his agents kidnaps Jacob and brings him to Talamdor.
At Ranusheim, the spiritual and magical centre of Veylindré, the Wayzenmoot recognise Abigail's unique qualities, so she and her friends are given a task: to capture the Master Bloodstone of Talamu from the Prophet and bring it back to Ranusheim to be destroyed. And she is determined to rescue Jacob.
After many adventures and dangers along the way, the company reach Talamunem City, home of the Prophet. Abigail's tasks, to wrest the Master Bloodstone away from the Prophet, rescue Jacob, and return to Ranusheim in safety, seem nearly impossible...

During a terrific storm, the pilgrims are translated to the Commonweal of Veylindré. When the rest are murdered by pirates, Abigail, a girl from 17th century England, vows to make a new life for herself in this strange world, with her boyfriend, Jacob. Some Dagâran people befriend them, and Abigail and Jacob soon realise that Veylindré is quite different to the England they left behind. All Veylindréans worship the Six, and are able to do magic by accessing the mysterious Way through their Goldstones. But they have an enemy, the Prophet of the One, who rules in Talamdor.
The quest begins... during their journey to Ranusheim, while Abigail is open to learning, and grows into her new role as an initiate of Ranu, Jacob struggles with accepting the Six. The choices they make in response to the changes they experience will have huge consequences for both their lives.

In this final volume of The Stones of Veylindré, Abigail and her friends finally brave the enemy country of Talamdor, in order to beard the Prophet of the One in his lair. They have two goals: first: to fulfil the quest laid on them by the Wayzenmoot, to steal the Master Bloodstone of Talamu and return it to Ranusheim to be destroyed; and second, to rescue Jacob from the Prophet's clutches.
In the meantime, the armies of Talamdor have invaded Veylindré - time is running out for the questers. And Jacob is being groomed by the Prophet to succeed him.
With each mile they draw closer to Talamunem City, they will be in more and more danger. Will they manage to achieve one goal, or both, or neither? Will they all survive the quest? Will Abigail's heart be broken along the way, or will she come through, stronger than before?
