Poetry of Resistance
Farflame has as its sub-title 'Resistance' indicating a general theme in the poetry of fighting on, struggling through and striving to survive. Not every single one of the poems cleave to this theme, but the vast majority do.
The cover for "Farflame" depicts a medieval-style Celtic dragon. It was created as a physical painting and then photographed. The painting was then bought by a third party.

Dancers of the Mind is Grey Wolf's final poetry retrospective.

Alternate History, Scifi etc
AHF Magazine is an alternate history and near genre magazine, dedicated to showcasing a mix of new and established talent. Issue 12 includes Susan Cornford's "Almost Like The Twilight Zone" as lead story, L G Parker's "The Horseless Carriage", a tour-de-force of Points of Departure; Brian G. Davies's travelogue on a visit to Carew Castle and Tenby, and Robert Bridge's Kinmel Revisited, the second part of the serialisation of this historical work.
Other stories come from Forest A. Ormes, K.S. Marquez, Robbie Sheerin, Aws Alherbish, Alex Valdiers, K.M. Mohr, Chelsea Baker, Richard Comerford, Robert Knox, Charles West, Wayne Faust, and Tyler James Russell.
Beautiful poetry is provided by John Grey, Angelo Letizia, Meg Smith, and Michael Lee Johnson. Martin Missaiel provides a book feature on his novel, The Alternative History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.
AHF Magazine 12 also includes a pre-review of the novel As Ants to the Gods by Alex Burcher, looking at the world that it is set in, geographically, technologically and politically.

AHF Magazine issue 6 contains stories in alternate history and associated genres by Douglas Kolacki, John D. Hanna, Jonathan Ball, Philippe Savidis, Jeffrey G. Roberts, Geoff Nelder, Jeff Rouss and Kirian Valk. There is poetry by Brian G. Davies, G. David Schwartz, Fabrice Poussin, Chani Zwibel, and the poetic story 'The Price' by Philip Piarrot. Our Interview is with Ruth Danes, author of the Life on Another Island series of books, while there are articles on alternate history by L G Parker and William C Dietz.
