A Welsh Odyssey

The author undertakes his own Odyssey, unlike Odysseus starting from his home town, then progressing through the mystical towns of Aberystwyth and Caernarfon, before ascending the heights of Snowdon, then on to Bangor, Shrewsbury and Knighton. Along the way he visits family, tours castles and cathedrals, and takes the scenic train to the top of the mountain. Due to the peculiarities of Welsh railways, he must leave the principalitiy and sojourn in the Marches, in order to take train to visit his parents' grave on the hillside overlooking Knighton.
